We have designed the courses to deliver information in a variety of formats including conferences, face-to-face workshops, online facilitated courses, learn on demand mini courses, and a document library to better serve your educational needs.

Learn on Demand

The "Learn on Demand" mini-courses have been created to provide quick tips to those who are already familiar with the information being presented but need a reminder or refresher. These courses are about five to fifteen minutes and include multiple downloadable formats that can be viewed or listened at any time. The courses include power point presentations and audio or video recordings of instructors delivering key pieces of curriculum. Online Courses

Course participants will benefit from a successful university-designed educational training platform and curriculums, while learning how to:

• Successfully find and timely submit proposals via Grants.gov
• Build partnerships and collaborations geared towards acquiring federal funding
• Write federal proposals focused on point criteria
• Prepare federal budget justifications with cost sharing
• Incorporate concepts from training sessions into working proposals

The courses run from four to six weeks and include readings and course exercises done online at your own pace. Each course is lead by an expert instructor that is available to answer your specific questions. Learn more about available courses and class schedules.

Face-to-Face Workshops

Based on the direct needs of each unique community area, Illinois ResourceNet is adapting and tailoring our online curriculum so that it can be delivered face-to-face in communities around the state of Illinois. More information on our face-to-face workshops will be posted shortly.

Illinois ResourceNet Events Attendance and Cancellation Policy: Due to the overwhelming registration responses that Illinois ResourceNet (IRN) receives for our events, courses and workshops we are instituting an attendance policy designed to minimize attrition and maximize our ability to accommodate all interested attendees for each event. -Free Events- As part of our commitment to Illinois non-profits and local government units, IRN strives to keep registration costs at a minimum, presenting most workshops and online courses for free. If you register for a free event, it is your responsibility to inform IRN of any necessary cancellations or substitutions within 48 hours of the event date. This will ensure that interested participants who were not able to register due to capacity limitation have an opportunity to attend. To cancel your registration, please phone Shaye Hall, Program Coordinator at (312) 413-4301 or email register@illinoisresource.net.  Registrants who fail to comply with this policy will be noted and placed on a delayed registration or "wait" list for future events.-Paid Events-If an event has a fee the cancellation, substitution and refund policies will be determined per event and posted clearly during the registration process.
